I’m loving this novel, Killing Commendatore by Haruki Murakami. The story, the visuals-in-my-head, the treasure hunt of symbolism, the intrigue. This is the kind of novel I want to go on and on and still, can’t put it down so it goes even faster. If you’re reading along, this drawing is of a quote on page 203.
I’m sorry you stopped this blog, because I love it and your drawings. Would have loved more on Killing Commendatore, which I am reading in French, but am nearly thru it, alas… best wishes, hope life has taken you to even greener pastures than blogging.

You are so sweet, Phoebe Sparrow Wagner. Yes, the unexpected happened and it was months and months before I picked up Killing Commendatore again. It was worth returning to and goes down as one of my favorite books of 2019. I hope you get to read it straight through without the interruption I had.
