In Broad Daylight

I’m loving this novel, Killing Commendatore by Haruki Murakami. The story, the visuals-in-my-head, the treasure hunt of symbolism, the intrigue. This is the kind of novel I want to go on and on and still, can’t put it down so it goes even faster. If you’re reading along, this drawing is of a quote on page 203.

  1. I’m sorry you stopped this blog, because I love it and your drawings. Would have loved more on Killing Commendatore, which I am reading in French, but am nearly thru it, alas… best wishes, hope life has taken you to even greener pastures than blogging.

    • You are so sweet, Phoebe Sparrow Wagner. Yes, the unexpected happened and it was months and months before I picked up Killing Commendatore again. It was worth returning to and goes down as one of my favorite books of 2019. I hope you get to read it straight through without the interruption I had.
