Just so you don’t get lost, I’m reading three books right now. They are Les Miserables by Victor Hugo for fun, Folklore Fights the Nazis by Kathleen Stokker for the humor – it is an easy, entertaining little book that I read when I just want a little something to make me relax, and Secret Lives of the Tsars by Michael Farquhar as a read-a-long with an online book group I enjoy and because intrigue and back-stabbing and double-crosses always confuse me when I read the history of any country’s royalty, so this is a good overview to help me understand a broad history of modern Russia.
